Outposts start at level zero. You level up by reaching the XP level requirements for the Outpost. XP will eventually come from multiple sources, but current is awarded when research buildings generate Research Points.
The outpost has its own Credit Account. Funds earned from activities on your Outpost (like those from Commercial activities) are placed in to an ‘Uncollected Revenue’ pot. This shows as Credits in the Outpost header and represents funds not yet collected.
When you collect any revenue, it goes to your ship’s account. The Outpost’s total Revenue is recorded as the funds are earned. That way over time you can see how profitable your Outposts are.
The main toolbar also shows the Outposts Power settings. Outposts come with 5,000 energy, which keeps the lights on whilst you arrange reactors. The toolbar depicts both the current drain and the max output of your generators, including the 5,000 generated by the Outpost emergency systems.
Simply put, this is your Outposts’ current stored Research points. Deploying Research buildings will generate your RP (based on the building deployed). Research points are generated once per hour. You will also receive an equal amount of Outpost XP.
Currently, there are no Outpost industrial Buildings. These are in review, and when added to the game, this section will be updated.
This will show the defence stats of your outpost. This stat will be used when combat takes place.
Fairly self-explanatory, as the Outpost kills enemy ships this counter will rise.
