📋 New Combat NPC’s

  • A new kind of work has opened up across the galaxy: bounty hunting. Ten contractors have set up Missions from the safe core out to the lawless frontier, and every one of them is looking for a captain willing to run down a named pirate captain and the crew at their back. These are personal jobs, not paperwork, a grieving widower, a weary garrison sergeant, a merchants’ guild factor, a young frontier marshal, a silver-tongued bounty broker and more besides.
  • Each has a reason for what they’re asking that’s well worth hearing out. Take a contract and your mark goes to ground somewhere in the contractor’s home system, running with an escort. Scan the system, track them down, and finish them and their crew in open combat, then report back to collect your pay.
  • Clear one and the next, nastier name on the board opens up. Every board runs ten marks deep, and the last name on each is an elusive ringleader who has vanished into the dark with no trail to follow; you will have to earn that one.
  • You will find the Missions with Silas Kade and Della Okonkwo in Feris, Imogen Castell in Ethan, Master Sergeant Holloway in Kelsey, Marshal Cass Bly in Joycelyn, Brother Caedmon in Medifield, Doran Mosk in Plarus, Dr. Elias Thorne in Lorat, and for the brave “Lucky” Vint and Commander Varga out toward the frontier in Empereus and Thrace.
  • Bounties start in the tens of thousands of credits and climb into the hundreds of thousands, but the coin always tracks the danger: the deeper into lawless space you hunt, the deadlier the mark and the fatter the purse for putting them down. Pick a Mission chain that suits your ship and your nerve, Captains, and start collecting. The galaxy is a little lighter on butchers than it was last week.

📋 New NPC’s

  • Two new specialists have set up shop, and both are after the same thing: materials, delivered in good order, by a captain with the patience to see a long job through. Over at Korth Industries Orbital in Feris, Bartholomew Fenn, assembly technician, self-certified, and rather proud of it, is looking for a dependable supplier to keep his workbench fed.
  • Bring him what he asks across a series of escalating jobs and he’ll see you right at every step, finishing with the plans and parts for your very own Molecular Assembler Printer: a personal assembler to call your own.
  • Further out, at Meltram in Ethan, Dr. Ada Brunel runs the Ethan R&D Office to a famously exacting standard, and she is recruiting captains willing to keep her labs stocked. Hers is the longer commission, nine stages of ever-rarer materials, each paying better than the last, but the captain who can meet the Brunel Standard from the first delivery to the ninth walks away with the crown jewel: a full R&D Complex of their own.
  • Both are honest, well-paid work for anyone with a cargo hold and a head for procurement, and between them they hand over two of the most useful structures a captain can deploy. Look them up, they’re waiting, and they don’t much like to be kept waiting.
