🔧 Bug Fix
- Fixed a Shield Booster bug where leaving combat (pirate bases or mining defence) could snap your shields back down to their pre-booster value. The booster now correctly persists the shields it restores, so the HP you heal sticks when you exit the field.
- We have smoothed out a frustrating snag in the early Greeter missions. If your cargo hold was still full when you went to collect your next job from Jonas Hawk, he could only show an ‘Insufficient space’ button — with no hint as to how to fix it. The Greeter guide now spots this ahead of time and walks you through making room: dock at the station, open Commercial Storage and deposit your spare ore (it is kept safe and you can withdraw it any time). That way Jonas always has your next mission ready to hand over.
- Fixed a bug where leaving a Pirate Base salvage — or any co-op combat zone — with no enemies present could reset your ship’s hull, armour and shields to zero on the way out. Now, if you take no damage inside a zone, your ship’s stats are left exactly as they were when you arrived. Thanks to the captains who reported their ships reading empty after a quiet salvage run.
✨ Improvement
- The Greeter Training guide has had a few comfort tweaks. It now opens tidily on the right-hand side of your screen — clear of your ship controls — instead of over on the left, and a gentle reminder shows new captains that the panel can be dragged anywhere: just grab the top bar and move it wherever suits you. It also sizes itself to fit your screen, so the longer mission checklists scroll neatly inside the panel rather than running off the bottom edge.
- By the time you reach Jonas’s fifth mission you have likely banked around 600 FSP from completing his earlier jobs — so the Greeter guide now nudges you to go and enjoy them. A new optional step points you to the FSP Store (open your Account panel from the player icon, top-right) and to the Engine Buff in particular: a permanent +100% speed boost that applies to every ship you own. There is no pressure to buy — it is simply there so new captains discover where their hard-earned Forged Space Points can be spent.
- The Greeter Training guide now tucks neatly into your toolbar instead of leaving a small icon floating wherever the panel used to sit. While you’re working through Jonas Hawk’s eight missions, look for the handshake button at the right-hand end of the bottom bar — click it to minimise the guide or bring it back. The button vanishes on its own once all eight missions are complete.
- The Item Database now shows you where to find each blueprint. Open any equipment item or ship and the Blueprint section lists which store stocks its blueprint, what the blueprint costs to buy, and how many builds you get from a single print — so you can plan a crafting run without scouring the galaxy first. Items that can’t be crafted simply read ‘No Blueprint available’.
🚀 New Feature
- Spreadsheet captains rejoice — you can now export your holdings to a file. A new Export button in Commercial Storage downloads your full resource listing (item, quantity, unit value and total value) as a CSV. The same button now appears on your Corp Store, plus the Corporation and Player Inventory tabs, so your whole operation can be pulled into a spreadsheet. Each export covers the entire listing, not just the rows on screen, so even the largest hoards come out in one click.
- Your Captain’s Log now keeps a record of your trades. Every buy and sell at a Trading Post, every deal struck with a passing trader, every Buyers Market contract you fulfil or post, and every player-to-player trade now writes a line to the Captain’s Log tab in your Comms window — for example ‘Sold 50 Kelsalt to Feris Trading Post — +1,250 CR’. Like your Comms channel, these entries persist between sessions (and clear down after a week), so you can look back over your recent dealings.
- Dev note — a Captain’s Log worth keeping: your Captain’s Log tab now keeps a running record of your trades. Every buy and sell at a Trading Post, every deal with a passing trader, every Buyers Market contract and every player-to-player trade writes a line you can look back on — for example ‘Sold 50 Kelsalt to Feris Trading Post — +1,250 CR’. Like your Comms channel, these entries persist between sessions and clear down after about a week. This is just a first step for the log, and we’d love your input: if there’s something else you’d like to see recorded in there — mining hauls, refining runs, kills, credits earned and spent, anything — drop us a note and we’ll look at adding it.
