π οΈ Vanishing Shuttles, Solved
If you have ever tucked a spare Shuttle away for a rainy day, this one is for you. A few captains noticed their stockpiled Shuttles quietly going missing over time, and thanks to Rioriel flagging it, we tracked down exactly why.
Shuttles are built to be handy little runabouts you can call up at any port, and that convenience came with a hidden catch. Whenever you hopped out of a Shuttle and into another ship, the game was tidying up a little too enthusiastically and could quietly remove one of your other parked Shuttles by mistake. If you only ever kept a single Shuttle you would never have noticed, but anyone building up a small fleet of them was slowly losing ships without realising.
That is now put right. Your Shuttles stay exactly where you leave them, however many you own, and swapping ships will never eat one again. Stockpile to your heartβs content. Our thanks to Rioriel for the sharp eye and the report.
π οΈ Clear Your Whole Refining Slate in One Click
If you run a busy Refining Center you will love this one. Whenever you have processes ready to collect, a new Collect All button appears at the top of your Active Refining Processes. One click gathers every finished batch at once.
Rather than a pile of pop ups, you get a single tidy summary. It lists the source materials you refined, every material collected added up together, the grand total, and your combined Engineering and Captain experience for the lot. The completed slots then clear themselves ready for your next run. A small thing, but a real time saver when you are turning ore into refined materials at scale.
π οΈAssembler Recipes at a Glance
A small quality of life touch for anyone running Molecular Assemblers. The Assemblers tab in your Information Center now carries a Recipe column. Hover the info icon on any deployed assembler and a tidy panel shows exactly what each unit of its product costs, resource by resource.
No more digging through the Item Database to remember what a production run needs. It is right there while you keep an eye on your assemblers.
π The Item Database Just Got Sharper
We have given the Item Database a proper polish, and it is now a far more useful tool at a glance. Where before you had to click into an item or ship to read its base stats, the important numbers now sit right there in the list. That means you can line things up and compare them in seconds, with a lot less clicking.
Here is what you will now see without opening a single item:
- Weapons, Mining and Salvage Lasers: damage, rate of fire and DPS, so you can weigh raw punch against firing speed.
- Shields: shield strength, regen rate, and the full recharge time from empty.
- Reactors: power output at a glance.
- Cargo Expanders: the cargo they add alongside the energy they draw.
- Modules: each module’s bonus, clearly labelled and colour coded.
- Harvesters and Mining Drones: their extraction and mining rates per hour.
- Drones, Boosters and Kits: the key numbers for defence drones, salvage drones, shield boosters, exploration kits, defence kits and stim packs.
- Ships: shield, armour and hull together, cargo and ore hold, energy, speed and passenger capacity, all in one tidy row.
It should make kitting out your ship and planning your next purchase a good deal quicker and clearer. Dive in and have a browse.
