🚀 New Feature

  • A handy new button for your cargo hold this evening, plus a handful of fixes and comforts drawn straight from your reports. First, the new one. You can now jettison cargo straight from the hold. Open your Cargo Hold, find the item you want gone in the General Cargo tab, and you will spot a small dump icon at the end of its row. Give it a tap, confirm that you really mean it, and that stack is vented into space and the room it was taking up is yours again. We have kept a firm are you sure prompt on it, because space is unforgiving and there is no scooping it back once it is gone.
  • This one came out of a real tangle. A captain had mined a heap of mission ore, set the contract aside, and found himself stuck, since mission ore cannot be sold or traded and there was no other way to be rid of it. His hold was full and going nowhere. Now there is always a way out. Anything you no longer want, whether it is mission ore, a bad batch of refined goods, or a stack of something you misjudged the market on, can be cleared in a couple of clicks. Every jettison is noted in your Captain’s Log as well, so you keep a record of what went out of the airlock.
  • We also straightened out a signposting mistake on some of the storyline delivery jobs. Because a good many stations across the galaxy share the same name, a handful of story missions were listing the wrong system as your drop off, sending you toward a distant world when the person waiting for the goods was standing right where you took the job.
  • Story deliveries now always point you back to the captain who hired you, exactly as they should. If one of these had you scratching your head, it will read true now. Next, a small comfort for anyone running long jobs.
  • When a refining, recycling, jump fuel or manufacturing job was due to finish on another day, the panel showed you only a time, which told you seven o’clock but never which morning. Those completion times now carry the date whenever a job runs past today, so a two day refine reads plainly as something like 5 Jul, 07:00 GT rather than leaving you guessing.
  • And one for the corporations. When a member moved materials in or out of the Corp Store, the activity log noted only a bland tally, something like nine thousand units across one item, which told you a shipment had happened but not what was in it. The log now names every material as it moves, one tidy line apiece, so whether you are stocking the store or drawing from it the ledger says exactly what changed hands and who moved it. Thank you for the reports that led to all of these. Fly safe, Captains, and mind what you throw out of the airlock.
