🚀 New Feature

  • Corporations can now run a shared fleet. Once your corporation unlocks the Corp Hangar through Corporation, then Upgrades, a new Corporation tab appears on your Ship Hangar screen. It opens a pooled bay of ships that every member of your corporation can see from anywhere in the galaxy, no travelling required. This is a private space for your corporation alone. You only ever see and deal in your own corporation’s ships, never anyone else’s.
  • Directors and Officers do the heavy lifting. They can deposit one of their own ships into the Hangar, provided it has been fully stripped of fitted equipment first, and the hull simply stays wherever it happens to be parked. From there a manager can award a ship to any member as an outright gift, or list it for sale to the corporation at a price of their choosing. Every ship card shows its estimated value, so you always have a sense of what a hull is worth before you move it on. Changed your mind about a ship you put in? A manager can reclaim it back to their own hangar at any time.
  • Any member of your corporation can buy a ship that has been listed for sale. The credits come straight out of your own account and land in the Corp Bank, ownership passes to you, and the ship waits for you at its current location ready to collect. It is all handled safely behind the scenes, so two members can never end up buying the same hull. Every move through the Hangar, whether a deposit, an award, a sale or a reclaim, is written to the corporation’s activity log, so there is always a clear record of who did what.

🔧 Bug Fix

  • A quick tidy up for the sharp eyed among you. After we gave the planetary harvesters their recent boost, one of you noticed that the Item Database was telling two different stories about the same machine. The main description proudly announced the new work rate, while a smaller figure further down still quoted the old one, a leftover from before the change that we had missed. That figure now reads true.
  • Every planetary harvester, from the Basic right up to the Advanced, along with the loyal Founder model, shows a single clear Extraction Rate that matches its description exactly, so there is no longer any confusion about how hard your harvester is really working. Nothing about the machines themselves has changed here. They were always pulling the correct amount out in the field. This was purely a case of the paperwork catching up with the truth. Thank you to the captain who spotted it and took the time to let us know. Happy harvesting.

Improvement

  • A small but welcome change for anyone thinking of joining a corporation. Until now, when you opened the Corporation panel at a station, it showed you only the corporations that happened to keep an office right there. A fine corporation headquartered a few systems away was invisible to you, which made finding one to join far more of a hunt than it ought to be. That is put right. The Corporation panel now lists every corporation in the galaxy, wherever you happen to be docked.
  • Browse the full roster, read up on any of them, and register your interest from anywhere at all. Each one shows its home base as well, so you can see at a glance where a corporation is rooted before you knock on the door. Where a corporation keeps its offices only really matters once you are a member with business to attend to. Finding one to call home should be the easy part, and now it is. Happy hunting, Captains.
