🚀 New Feature

  • Co-op Kill Loot — Destroying pirates in co-op combat (Hideouts and Lawless Mining) now awards small random resources or items directly into your cargo hold. This works alongside the existing wreck/salvage system — you get instant loot on kill.

Improvement

  • Salvage Laser now extracts loot based on its damage stat rather than a fixed amount. Higher-tier Salvage Lasers will strip wrecks faster.
  • Pirate Hideout combat waves now wait for all enemies to be defeated before spawning the next wave, with a short cooldown between waves. No more overwhelming spawns while still fighting.
  • The Msg button in Players in System now opens a proper Private Message tab in chat instead of using the old /tell command.
  • Safe-system mining has been completely rebuilt using WebSockets instead of HTTP requests. Mining updates (cargo, pool levels, log entries) now arrive instantly from the server the moment your laser cycle completes — no more waiting for round-trip delays. This is the same real-time technology that powers combat, now applied to mining for a much smoother and more responsive experience. All mining data is now server-driven with a single source of truth, eliminating sync issues between what you see and what the server knows.

🌍 New Content

  • New Blueprint: Salvage Laser MK1 is now available in the Blueprint Store under the new Salvage Weapons category.

⚖️ Balance Change

  • Reduced pirate respawn delay in Lawless Mining combat from 60 seconds to 40 seconds for a brisker pace.
