A short guide on what is required to deploy an Outpost and where to locate the Hub Blueprints and the Licence. Please read carefully before starting down this path.
Outpost Requirements
To be able to deploy a player owned Outpost you need to have some base requirements. The first of these is the Outpost Hubs. There are Eight of them and these need to be in your ships Outpost Tab in your ships inventory.

Blueprints
These are obtainable from Frontier Outpost Designs. They sell not only the Hubs blueprints but also the blueprints for the Reactors and Research buildings. Search for this office using the Information Centre icon third from top on the left. When open use the Services tab and select Outpost Blue Print Store from the drop list.
Outpost Licensing Office
A regulatory body overseeing outpost deployment, granting licences that allow captains to construct and operate their own stations beyond established hubs.
Licence Requirements
Captain level 25, Command Skill level 10.
Deploy your own space station in any system with enough open space. You’ll need all 8 Hub Section modules crafted and in your Ship Inventory. Deploy and create your own home in the stars — your very own corner of the galaxy.
Your outpost will appear on the map for all players in that system.
How to Deploy
Once you have all eight Hubs in your ship’s hold, and you have purchased a license and meet the requirements, you will see a new Icon appear on your Icon bar at the bottom. This shows as ‘Deploy Outpost’. This runs a visual check to see if you have met all the relevant criteria.
You will need to be 400 Px from any items in space, this includes Asteroid Fields, Jumps gates, Planet etc. Once far enough away from a nearby spatial location, you should find it will allow you to deploy.
Name Your Outpost
Once you have located a space not hear anyother elements you will be given the option to Deploy & Name. Naming your outpost is important. Only Letters, Numbers and Spaces will be allowed. You cannot name it after an exisiting location.
Once completed you will drop back to the system map and your Settlement will be deployed!
Note
You will now have a new permanent icon on the footer, a green one titled ‘Manage Outpost’. You can use this icon at any location to manage your Outpost. You don’t have to return to the Outpost to manage it.
