Thanks to vgorlove for this one, and apologies to anyone who has been staring at it wondering. Lend an R&D Complex to a Global Research Topic and the Research tab in your Info Panel has been calling it “Idle, No Plan Selected”.
Here is what happened. A Complex working on your own research has a plan attached to it, and the panel checked for that plan to decide whether anything was going on. A Complex lent to a Global Research Topic does not have a plan, because the topic is the work. So the panel found no plan, drew the obvious conclusion, and told you it was asleep.
The Research tab now shows the topic your Complex is working on and says it is contributing hourly, the same as the office does. Nothing was lost and nothing needs redoing. If you pulled a Complex off a topic because you thought it had stalled, it did not, and you can put it straight back.
The Legend in unicombat now lists everything the minimap can actually draw. Ore you searched for, the rock you are cutting, wrecks, turrets and the Pirate HQ were all being drawn and none of them were explained. They are in there now. Anyone who has squinted at a coloured dot and wondered was reading it correctly, and it was letting them down. Thanks Drylok for this one. This one had been quietly misleading every captain who ever opened that panel while mining.
