π New Feature
For the first time, you can keep your friends flying. Until now, fighting alongside your wing mates meant watching helplessly as their shields buckled and their armour peeled away, with nothing you could do but hope they pulled through. That changes today. Cruiser captains can now fit a brand-new class of Auxiliary gear, repair projectors that reach across the battlefield and mend an allyβs ship while the fire is still flying.
There are two kinds. Shield Projectors top up a teammateβs shields, and Armour Repairers rebuild their plating. Lock onto a friendly ship in a co-op fight, hold your beam on them, and watch their health climb. It turns a group of lone guns into a real crew, one captain calling the shots, another soaking the damage, and you’re keeping them all in one piece. The gear comes as a full range, six tiers from the humble Basic projector up to the mighty Paragon.
Each step up heals more per pulse, but it also drinks far more power and demands greater engineering skill, so the very best support gear is earned, not handed out. These are serious pieces of kit, and building them is a proper undertaking. To get your hands on the blueprints, look for a new store appearing across the galaxy.
Auxiliary Systems has set up shop in twenty-one systems, the quiet specialists in support and recovery gear. Buy a blueprint there, then gather the materials and craft it at a manufacturing facility.
Fair warning, the recipes lean heavily on mined ore, and the higher tiers will have you hunting down uncommon and rare deposits in real quantity, so your miners are about to become very popular indeed. Auxiliary modules fit the Auxiliary slots on Cruiser hulls and above, and they only target friendly ships. So gather your wing, fit your projectors, and go look after each other out there.
β¨ Improvement
A cleaner, calmer combat log for your team battles and your lawless mining runs. Anyone who has fought alongside friends in a Pirate Hideout, or mined for ore while pirates circled, will know how busy that activity log could get. Weapons firing, drones taking hits, loot dropping and rewards landing, all of it poured into a single narrow strip, and in the thick of a fight the good news often scrolled away before you had chance to read it.
We have given the log a proper tidy up. It now splits into two columns. On the left is your Combat feed, the shots you land, the fire coming back at you, your drones taking hits and the ships you bring down. On the right is Loot and Events, where your salvage, your dog tags, your victory rewards and the quieter status messages all gather in one calm place. Twice the room means twice as much stays on screen, so a rich haul or a hard won kill reward no longer disappears in a blur of laser fire. We have also sharpened what the combat feed talks about.
It now follows your own fight, the damage you deal and the damage done to you, rather than echoing every blow landed across the whole team. In a group of three that difference is night and day, turning a wall of noise into something you can actually read. Finally, your defence drones speak up properly now. Every time one of them takes a hit on your behalf you will see it noted, not only the moment it falls, so you always know how your loyal little guardians are holding up.
π§ Bug Fix
A tidy up for the Manufacturing Facility blueprint list. If you spend much time at a Manufacturing Facility, you may have noticed the blueprint list behaving oddly. It could reshuffle itself every time you looked, and if you owned more than one copy of the same blueprint, it had a habit of scattering that blueprint across every category tab rather than keeping it where it belonged. Both quirks are now sorted.
Your blueprints hold a steady, predictable order, neatly grouped by category, and multiple copies of the same blueprint now gather into a single tidy entry showing your total remaining uses. Each tab lists only the blueprints that truly belong to it, so finding what you want to build is quick and clear again.
